Featured Coffee: Morgan Coffee Roasters Testi Adorsi

Testi Adorsi is a washed process coffee from Ethiopia, roasted by Morgan Coffee Roasters in Gothenburg, Sweden. Their tasting notes include peach and honeydew. We chose to brew this coffee on the Kone, with a 1:15 ratio of coffee to water.


Our recipe:

45g coffee — medium grind
675g water — just off boil

30 second bloom (100g)
Finished pouring at 3:20
Finished draining at 4:05


Tasting notes:

After grinding, the dry fragrance smells sweet like white peach, with some subtle herbaceous notes. The peach is quite prominent in the cupl; we also tasted tropical flavors like guava, as well as notes of lychee and white grape. The coffee has a refreshing herbaceousness, with subtle flavors of lemongrass and mint.


Our take:

A delicious and sweet washed coffee from Ethiopia. Peach is the dominant fruit flavor, but it plays off of interesting tropical and herbaceous notes.
